Osama ‘Sam’ Lutfi can heave a sigh of relief as Britney’s lawyer announced he is not going to seek an extension for a restraining order against him. Sam who claimed to be the friend and sometimes the manager had been accused of controlling Britney Spears’ money and almost holding her captive in her own house. She now desires no contact with him again. However, her father James Spears is controls her personal and financial matters and is now responsible for her safety. One cannot help but wonder why fathers of female celebrities become exceptionally protective and controlling once they achieve fame. Most of the times, the fathers even give up their original jobs to ‘manage’ their celebrity daughters??? lives. One can only wonder if this has got to do anything with one of those Freudian theories. Meanwhile, Britney Spears might just be coolly smoking her pack of cigarettes.
