Spinach and Prawns in mustard sauce

spinach and prawnIn Eastern India there is a good use of mustard seeds in stir-frying, gravies and sauces. This mustard recipe, which I am going to share with you today is a pottage of spinach and prawns. The ingredients used are as follows:

Ingredients

Chopped Spinach
Prawns
Mustard Paste
Garlic Paste
Salt
Turmeric Powder
Slitted Green Chilies
Olive Oil

Method

1. Fry garlic paste in oil until brown, add turmeric powder and then add prawns, green chilies and salt and fry for some more time.
2. Add spinach and fry for some more time until the leaves are tender and the miisture is evaporated.
3. In the end add mustard paste and simmer it for some time.

Serve it with boiled rice and pulses.
