All we Susan Boyle fans were simply waiting for it to happen, and now it has. Britain???s favorite singing sensation has finally got the recognition she truly deserves, and that is her very own wax statue at none other than the world famous Madame Tussauds.

On Tuesday, the 50-year old singing sensation from Scotland joined the ranks of other international singing sensations like Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, when Tussauds unveiled her model as part of its £10 million regeneration effort for the British seaside resort of Blackpool and Promenade, in North West England.

SuBo, as she is fondly called, seemed absolutely floored by her $244,000 wax self and called it absolutely ???fantastic???. And that is exactly what her wax model looked like, draped in a beautiful black dress that SuBo herself wore during the video she made for her cover of The Rolling Stones’ Wild Horses.

Standing next to her statue, the uncanny resemblance between the two was there for all to see. SuBo was absolutely beaming with happiness and said,

It was such a great process to be involved in and it looks very realistic.

Posing for the photographers alongside the model, in her trademark humor that we all have come to love, she said,

She’s doing a better job than me!

While her wax model is already at display in the Lancashire resort, we will have to wait till Thursday to take a long good look at her, as that is when the new Madame Tussauds will open it for public viewing.

SuBo did wish her wax self to be placed alongside that of her mentor Simon Cowell, but as of now she is placed in the Big Night In area, with wax models of TV host Gok Wan and comedian Alan Carr for company.
