Prepare your own tangy tomato pickle to add taste to your meal

Ingredients:

Tomato – 4-5 medium
Red chilies – 10-15
Ginger – 1 cup (chopped)
Garlic – 1 cup (chopped)
Oil 1 – 1.5 cups
Vinegar – 2 cups
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Fenugreek – 1 tsp
Mustard – 1 tbs
Salt – according to your taste

Method:

Chop tomatoes into pieces and spray salt and turmeric over it. Pour 1-cup vinegar over it and let it to soak for 2 hours. Mix three-fourth mustard, ginger, garlic, red chilies, and vinegar together well. Pour oil in a pan and put remaining mustard into it. Heat it till mustard crackles followed by adding up fenugreek and frying it for 2-3 minutes. Add blended mixture to it and fry it further for 20 minutes. Stir it and get the mixture comes to boil. Oil will float at the top when the pickle is done. Take the pan off from the heat and cool it. Store in a tight container and use it for 1 year.
