Anna Nicole saga continues and so does the proceedings in a Bahama court for a case related to the custody of her 6-month-old daughter Dannielynn Hope.
I had aired my views on the possibilies of a DNA test to lessen the complications over the custody of Nicole’s daughter. But as more words have started pouring in, it is clear that the judge concerned has ordered a DNA test. This news was confirmed by Deborah Rose, an attorney for Smith’s mother, Virgie Arthur.
Larry Birkhead, Nicole’s ex-boyfriend, was clearly all smiles as he left the Bahama court proceedings. Larry is entangled in a complicated battle with three other contenders who want the custody of the 6-month-old infant.
Howard K. Stern, Nicole’s lawyer and her live-in partner, is currently taking care of Dannielynn and is one of the contenders. He is listed as the father in Dannielynn’s birth certificate.
Virgie Arthur, Nicole’s estranged mother, wants to have the custody of the child arguing that she could provide a more stable home.
Frederic von Anhalt, husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor, is also claiming his paternity over Dannielynn. He has even filed legal documents seeking a DNA test to determine if he is the father.
The fact that Dannielynn could eventually inherit millions from the estate of Nicole’s late husband J. Howard Marshall II might be playing some role in the fierce battle over the custody of the child cannot be ruled out.
Nicole had been fighting his family over the estimated $500 million fortune of the oil tycoon since his death in 1995.
But in the light of the judge’s order for a DNA test the complications are expected to be over very soon.
