Australian singer Kylie Minogue appeared for her first television interview since she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She sported a bleached-blonde haircut and healthy glow during the interview. She told British TV host Cat Deeley about year long struggle, future plans and made some surprise announcements.
Kylie, 38 filmed a documentary with Sky One in which she tells about her year long battle against breast cancer. She had to undergo partial mastectomy and radiotherapy and chemotherapy. She was announced cancer free in the beginning of the year. Kylie herself and her parents were in a state of shock when doctor revealed it to them.
Soon she will be releasing her semi-autobiographical children’s book, ‘The Showgirl Princess’ and plans to support breast cancer awareness programs.
