Teri Hatcher, the desperate one

Teri Lynn Hatcher has had an illustrious career so far. She has scripted her name into the history books after her string of graceful performances in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Desperate Housewives and Tomorrow Never Dies. And now she has written herself into the books of the egotistical.

The Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe award-winning American actress and author Teri Hatcher was in the Badgley Mischka fashion show last evening and made heavy weather of her stay there. She was reportedly confrontational with the NY Daily News reporters when they were waiting in the Waiting lounge for possible interviews and couldn’t sustain the smiling face image that Hollywood celebrities are expected to exhibit all the time.

Hatcher not only declined to be interviewed but also behaved quite rudely with the Daily News reporters. She wanted the W lounge all for herself and demanded the reporters to go away. Having said that, she commenced volleying orders at her assistants about her hair, clothing and time management. When she realized that the Daily News reporters were actually absorbing all the entertainment that was on for display at the moment, she had them removed.

Teri Hatcher first hit the headlines in 1993 when she landed the role of Lois Lane opposite Dean Cain in Lois & Clark. She continued to rise up the ladder when she played Paris Carver in the James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies. And then arrived Desperate Housewives and the role of Susan Mayer, an accident-prone divorcee that won her the Screen Actors Guild Award for the Best Actress in 2004.
