Hey! The mystery of former pop-princess Britney’s confrontation with the cops last week is finally unfolding. It has been reported that her ex-hubby, 29-year-old Kevin Federline, feared that after losing the children’s custody battle to him, a mentally disturbed Britney might resort to shooting her two sons and then herself, at her own house. She was supposed to hand over her kids to Kevin on the night of last Thursday.
Incidentally, she was reluctant to give up her sons to Kevin and guess what?! In an effort to keep her children with herself, she ended up offering $100 million to him. What a ridiculous way to trade off her kids with money! I wonder, if any sane human can ever conceive such preposterous notion. Guess the answer is ‘NO’.
He was aware that his estranged wife was in possession of a Beretta 92FS pistol in her master bedroom, which ironically was a birthday gift from him to her. Going by the Britney histrionics in the recent months, it was natural for Kevin to get panic-stricken and call the police for help. He must have envisaged her seriously wounding the kids with the gun in a fit of uncontrollable rage.
Subsequently, the police seized her house located in Hollywood, where she was holding her two sons — 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston. Reportedly, a frightened Kevin called his lawyer for help, who later informed the police. During the 3-hour seizure of her house, Britney persistently opposed to hand over her kids to the armed authorities.
Following this incident, she was taken to a hospital to be kept under observation. At the hospital also, she could not be managed to shun her eccentric behavior and was released later. According to a source,
Kevin knew she was on the edge and might snap at any time…Knowing there were TWO firearms in the house, including the Beretta, he wasn’t taking any chances- hence the massive police response.
As ceaseless news of the fallen pop star’s bizarre lifestyle come pouring to us every other day, I wonder what she is up to next. Oh Britney! Please give us a break.
