The latest hype building around our Miss Lohan clearly indicates that she is planning to drop her last name and just settle for Lindsay. Known for her unusual and wild ways, the question arises if it’s one of those publicity gimmicks just to be back in the news and be spoken about?
Pop Eater now quotes the actress’s mother as saying:
[She] is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay. Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan.
She has decided to do this in order to break ties with her estranged father Michael Lohan, who was charged for assaulting his girlfriend. In the meanwhile, Lindsay, who herself has been previously charged for drugs and other trivial matters, is now being accused of stealing a $2500 worth necklace from a California store. Her identity has been formed under the name Lindsay Lohan. If she decides to drop it, her new name may not necessarily be lucky for her. Not that her current name has received much accolades, but she is who she is partially because of her name. So Miss Lohan, remember not every publicity is good publicity. It is sometimes ok to be who you are!
