Despite Brazil is a country where nearly half the population is black and mulatto, this population is not equally distributed on the different regions.

In South Central region, in which there are millions of descendants of Europeans, the white population exceeds other races.

So far so good, but the problem begins with the emergence of neo-Nazi movement that began in the 80 and that now gives strong signs of life. It’s common to see them in cities like Sao Paulo at night in certain neighborhoods. Earlier this same city, a police officer was beaten by one of these groups. Cases of homosexuals and blacks were sent to hospitals with serious injuries are also becoming common. In Campinas, a city with more than one million inhabitants, a few years ago, a bomb was detonated in front of a synagogue.

These groups are now spreading in medium cities, especially where the population is descended from European majority. However, the worst is that it seems that the authorities are not giving due attention to this dangerous fact.

We sincerely hope that with this brutal attack on a police officer who was almost killed, authorities time to react to investigate the formation of such groups. One observation: for a long time in Brazil there is a desire separatist in a small plot of the population of South Central region of the country. Could it be this movement an aggressive manifestation of that desire?
