The Jonas Brothers are quite the rage, especially among the young females. They have started 2008 on the back of a wonderful ???07 and they are likely to keep the trend going for sometime.
They have big plans for this year. They are already the opening act on the Hannah Montana tour. Apart from that, their movie Camp rock releases this June on Disney, their new album comes out in July and there???s also some talk of a TV series called J.O.N.A.S. With such a wonderful time beckoning, you???d have expected the boys ready to take on the celeb lifestyle. But by their own confessions, they are not!
In news that might disappoint a number of fans of the band, The Jonas Brothers have vowed that they???d stay virgins until they get married. What, who does that these days? Joe says in the March issue of Details magazine that the three wear purity rings as:
promises to ourselves and to God that we???ll stay pure till marriage.
Of course, these rings have become a matter of intense speculation and gossip for the media and fans alike. Crazy bets about how long the young pop stars will stay celibate have started. Kevin (at 20 he???s the oldest of the lot) says:
Oh, yeah, that???s on a daily basis. People write that it???s not true, that we???re taking pictures with girls. Of course we take pictures with girls! They???re our fans. I had a ring before this one, and I lost it in a wave pool on vacation and I didn???t have a ring on for, like, two, three weeks, and someone took a picture of me and then it was a huge rumor on the Internet.
‘Purity rings’ that???s a new one. I pray to the Lord to grant them the will to fend off all temptations. Just kidding. I???m starting a bet off with friends. Time to cash in on the boys.
