The King’s speech lives up to its name and gets crowned with four Oscars

The much awaited 83rd Annual Academy Awards ceremony honored the best films of 2010 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Outshining all the other nominees at the award function and sticking to its name (KING) was The King???s Speech, sweeping four oscars in all the major categories. It was crowned with the Best Picture, Best Actor, Beat Director and Best Original Screenplay awards. Trailing closely was The Social Network, which managed to fetch three awards in total.

While Colin Firth fetched the Best actor???s title for his performance in ???The King???s Speech???, Natalie Portman got the Best actress award for her outstanding role in ???Black Swan???. Christian Bale and Melissa Leo received awards in the Best supporting actor and actress category, respectively for their performance in ???The Fighter???. Congratulations to all the winners.
