The all time favorite American golf champion Tiger woods is enjoying his fatherhood. His recently born baby daughter is only couple of weeks old. Woods christened her as Sam Alexis. Sam has already started ‘holding’ golf clubs according to her father Woods.
She couldn’t quite hold it, but it was there
Recently, Elin Nordegren gave birth to Tiger’s daughter Sam on June 18th. The world class golf pro agreed that his life has changed after the birth of his daughter.
Woods appreciates his new fatherhood and admits publicly that his life has changed. He said more on his life and his daughter at a press conference in Bethesda, Maryland. The press con was held as a part of the kick off ceremony for the At & T golf tournament. He is thankful to all the doctors, nurses and the fans for respecting their privacy.
I think there’s more to life than golf or whatever you life. When Sam Alexis grows up, she might turn out to be a child prodigy. Nordegren (27) and Woods(31) were apart from each other when she gave birth to Alexis. Irrespective of birth complexities, there wasn’t any life threatening situations. The couple kept in touch constantly over the phone. Tiger wanted to be with his wife. But, his wife and her doctor encouraged him to play the golf tour he was on:
It wasn’t easy. It was not easy because I wanted to be there. And the doctor and Elin said, ‘There’s nothing you can do. So go out there and just get a W [a win].’ Well, I came close
I guess sometimes life is like that. On one hand you have your family and on the other, you have something that you always loved the most throughout your life. In this case, Tiger did a pretty good job of balancing his personal life and family. Hopefully Sam will turn out a female golf star. You never know.
