That’s unbelievable! Julia Roberts’ charm seems to be fading. Sandra Bullock’s much appraised role in The Proposal was first offered to the Pretty Woman, but on reconsideration it was swapped with Bullock.
Now I can’t help but imagine magical Julia in that role. However, Julia is herself responsible for losing the breakthrough role that could have marked her comeback after a long break.
She wasn’t ready to lower her fees and producers now had many options to replace her, which might not have been possible in her heyday.
I think it’s time for Julia to start adjusting.
