Tom Cruise, despite much convincing has let got his most suited role in Motorcade with Len Wiseman. Now Cruise is deliberating to get out of typecast roles and heading this time to play a funny guy.
If the deal is cracked with 20th Century Fox, which is currently under negotiation, Cruise would play a secret agent spying on a single woman, most likely to be played by Cameron Diaz in the action-comedy Wichita. The Vanilla Sky couple will appear together for the second time.
As per some inside sources, the film is pretty much like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where both the co-stars are undercover.
Plain action or action-comedy? Wichita might decide limits to Cruise’s acting abilities.
