The first wedding anniversary of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is approaching and with every passing day the Top Gun star seems to be getting slightly emotional about the day on which he tied nuptial knot with Holmes in an Italy castle.
To Tom what stands out in the memories of the wedding day is watching Holmes turn into a bride. At the premier of his forthcoming film ‘Lions for Lambs’ he talked about the day and said:
I think every person has it when they look at their bride…That’s something that I’ll never forget.
He said that despite it being a big event with numerous guests and friends attending it, the wedding still remained ‘personal’. In his own words:
It was very beautiful…As big as it was from the outside, it was a very personal experience and something obviously I’ll never forget.
Cruise, 45, talked about his daughter Suri too. She is now 18-months-old and is a ‘very happy’ and ‘very joyous’ child.
Since Cruise got married in Italy, he talked about Italian food too and said that his favorite Italian phrase was ‘More pasta, more pasta, preferably with truffles.’
