Tom Cruise pays tribute to legendary German actor Ulrich Muehe

Risky Business actor Tom Cruise took time out and arrived for paying tributes to late German acting star Ulrich Muehe at Berlin. Cruise attended the cermony that took place in Berlin’s Schaubuehne theatre.

Tom was accompanied to the ceremony by filmmaker Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who directed Muehe in the Oscar winning movie The Lives Of Others.

The Oscar winner star Ulrich Muehe had passed away on July 25, 2007. Muehe, 54 will be well remembered as a T.V and theatre personality. He was undergoing treatment for stomach cancer. He played varied roles in his films. He can be seen in a comic role in Schtonk!, a satire about the Hitler Diaries hoax, and showed his more serious side in Michael Haneke’s Benny’s Video. In Funny Games he appeared with his wife, actress Susanne Lothar.

Tom Cruise is currently filming his upcoming film, Valkyrie in Germany. Valkyrie is based on the July Plot of German officials to assassinate Hitler. Cruise plays the leader of the plot, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg.
