Bisexual means a person is sexually attracted towards both men and women. Bisexuality might indicate either romantic feelings or just simply sexual attraction towards both males and females. Bisexuality has been observed in various human societies and elsewhere also in the animal kingdom.
Main advantages of being bisexual are the following:
- A person who is bisexual can be comfortable with persons from the opposite sex. That person will not have any problem or uneasiness in mixing with people of both the sex.
- A bisexual person can choose with whom he/she is more comfortable, whether a man or a woman and then choose accordingly.
- A bisexual person can freely enjoy with any company they get.
- Research shows those who are bisexual are more matured and their brains are more developed due to excess secretion of sex hormones.
- Being bisexual means being able to acknowledge the pros in both men and women and having the freedom to like and choose and to be with either one from both the sex.
- Having the knowledge of what attracts you to the same sex so you can use that to attract the opposite sex.
- If you find your partner is not being suitable for you then you have the option of trying out with the other sex also, rather looking for other options in the same sex you were previously into with.
- You will not be discriminated as just ‘gay’ or ‘lesbian’ because you can be free with both the gender.
- Being a bisexual means you can take your time and spend with people from the gender and then after observation and experience you can choose to be with that person whoever is best for you decide accordingly.
- You can easily understand the mentality and needs of your partner when you are with someone of the same gender.
- If you live life as a straight person and find difficulty in living life that way then you can easily switch and be with a person from the other gender.
- A bisexual person will see the world and its people with different eyes than a straight person (who likes only people from the opposite sex) and at times it might prove to be helpful and adventurous also.
