Top five cheapest eateries in the year 2005

321431445What if you have a five-course meal at $47 in a place like Paris…I am going to give you the cheapest eateries in Paris and thanks Joe for giving us the perspective of the celebrity chef Daniel Boulud.
Daniel Boulud loves to go for these eateries when he is not nibbling in his junk food favorites. The cheapest eateries as follows:

1. F&B Gudtfood, which houses the best dogs in the world and sells them for a humble $3.50. They give you German and Danish hotdogs, containing sauages, turkey, organic chicken, pork, beef, veal, and even veal sausages. A mouthful of dogs for peanuts.

2. Joe Shanghai restaurant at Pell Street in China Town serves eight pieces of Crab Meat with Pork Meat Steamed Bun at just $6.25 and Scallops & Prawns w/ Garlic Sauce at only $17.50. The latter seafood is the most expensive one, so you might have guessed that the soups, casseroles and meat might just leave you go for double servings at cheaper rates

3. The next in row is Via Quadronno, at 25 E. 73rd St. and Daniel like the Motadilla Panini with mustard seasoning for as low as $6.50. My favorite is Pancetta Italian style bacon with black pepper at $5.50. The luncheon sandwiches are made out of single ingredient and stuffed inside freshly baked Francesino loaf, made in the house.

4. Daisy May’s Barbecue U.S.A., 623 11th Ave, another bistro renowned for take-away food, whose owner once with Daniel. Daniel’s favorite is ribs at $9.50, creamed spinach at $7 and cornbread at $2. I can literally jump to Daisy’s to have the Cajun dirty rice with beans just at $12, for a large plate.

5. Finally, Franny’s at 295 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn, gives the clam pizza at only $15. Gracious Goodness! I salute Boulud for hitting at such wonderful foods at such reasonable rates. You get Crostinis, appetizers, various pizzas, desserts and side dishes only with a small $.

Well, Joe Boulud might be famous for his Haute cuisine restaurant and bistros, but he is a great explorer of quality foods at best rates…that requires skills of tasting and going being unbiased as far as choosing eateries is concerned.
