Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott are ready to welcome their first child and are so excited that the couple threw themselves a baby shower.
The pair were joined by approximately 50 guests this weekend in Los Angeles.
McDermott told PEOPLE that they are expecting a son this April. Dermott said,
We’re so excited to share this special time with our friends. We can’t wait to meet the little man. We feel him kicking all the time and we’re so eager to finally see him.
Spelling revealed that she plans to name her first child after her late father, Aron, legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling, who died last year.
At the baby shower Spelling’s guests included her Beverly Hills 90210 pal Jennie Garth and Loni Anderson. But Spelling’s mother, Candy Spelling, was absent at the blue-themed party with whom Tory has had a public’ falling-out’ since the death of her father Aaron Spelling.
And Tori looks more excited about her unborn son and can no longer wait to hold her baby in her arms. She said,
I’ve loved being pregnant, but I’m ready to give birth. I can’t wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms.
Well you can imagine couple’s excitement. Baby showers are usually reserved for female friends of the mom-to-be, but Spelling and McDermott invited both the genders to the baby shower.
