Television talk shows are always full of fun where the host tries to extract as much information as possible from the guests, with some new information often grabbing the headlines. The Star Jones Show running on TruTV for the last six months was no different from the scores of the television talk shows. Star Jones, in a court like ambiance tried to make her guests talk on a number of issues. There was a considerable amount of admirers of the show. However, the authorities of TruTV had other ideas in mind and decided to stop the show.
I do not think Star Jones has anything to lose from this move by TruTV. By holding these shows, the talk show hosts do acquire a celebrity status and are always moving from one TV channel to another with similar shows but different names. May be we will soon see Star Jones on a rival channel with another ubiquitous talk show.
