TV mogul Aaron Spelling dead at 83

Television tycoon Aaron Spelling, who produced nearly 200 television shows passed away on Thursday evening. He was 83 years old and cause of his death was the complications from the stroke he suffered on 18th June.

He was at his mansion close by Beverly Hills. Funeral arrangements have not been announced as yet. His wife Candy and son Randy were there on his side when he died. His daughter Tori Spelling said on Wednesday that soon she would be leaving for Canada with her husband to be with her dad. It was not known whether she was there with him at that time or not.

He was a topnotch television producer and was the man behind several popular TV shows like Charlie’s Angels, Dynasty Beverly Hills 90210, Hart to Hart, Vegas, The Love Boat, Melrose Place and Charmed.

Spelling went to New York after completing his graduation to become an actor. He married to actress Carolyn Jones in 1953. They stayed in California till they parted their ways in 1964. In 1968 he married again with Candy, 60 and had two children Randy and Tori. Both of them acted in his television series, Tori in 90210 and Randy in Sunset Beach.
