The bra-burners of the Women???s Movement will surely be getting some serious heartburn watching supermodel and talk show host Tyra Banks use their vehicle of protest against male chauvinism for a promotional gimmick.
Apparently Tyra and all the attendees of her show???s taping had way too many spare bras cluttering their closets so they decided to use them all to light a bonfire at the New York studio. Since none of the women seem to be burning any part of their own underwear, one wonders what this segment of ???The Tyra Banks Show??? sought to convey to its audiences.
Perhaps Ms. Banks just wanted the media presence to promote her upcoming fashion magazine reality show with the CW network, for which a press release says ???will be produced by Banks, as well as the production team behind Bravo???s hit reality show Project Runway.???
The only difference between the two is that winners of this show will land a job as an assistant editor at a prestigious fashion magazine. But haven???t we already seen that in the movie The Devil Wears Prada?
