Tyra Banks was deeply hurt and flabbergasted by the unflattering photographs of the model in a swimming costume that were circulated on the internet recently.
‘It was such a strange meaness and rejoicing that people had when thinking that was what my body looked like,’ said Tyra.
The former supermodel who now hosts her own chat show as well as America’s Next Top Model owns up the fact that her weight has fluctuated from between 148lbs (10 stone), and 162lbs (11.5 stone), since retiring from the catwalk.
‘I don’t want to sit in front of you and keep telling that I love myself, I’m beautiful, it’s great…,’ adds the 5ft 10′ star.
She says that now that she has left modeling, she doesn’t want to take all that pain to live upto the model standards. She adds that she still feels hot, however, it hurts a little when she is able to squeeze herself into her old jeans.
Banks says that she ‘isn’t the healthiest eater’ and finds it unbelievable that anybody could be that unkind.
