Video: Woody Harrelson attacks paparazzo

All hell broke loose at New York’s La Guardia airport last night when a photog tried to hurl annoying questions at Woody Harrelson. Instead of putting a passive face, Woody turned pro-active and got physical with the photog. He shoved the camera into his eyes, then smashed the camera to the ground and began walking with it. When the photog followed him and demanded him to return the cam, Woody attacked him again and showered punches on him.

Woody beat the hell out of him as he kept yelling “Woody, this is assault!” Well, that was an assault. However, I have a question for the paps. What’s more ugly – physical assault or mental assault? And please remember Princess Diana’s tragic death before answering the question.

Best moment: Sorry folks, I don’t find the video amusing enough to mark the best (or worst) moment.

Update – Woody later released a statement telling that he attacked the photog because he mistook him for a zombie! Here’s the statement,

I wrapped a movie called Zombieland, in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character. With my daughter at the airport I was startled by a paparazzo, who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie.
