The consequences of getting a DUI can ruin your driving record. It can also mess up your life as well. When a celebrity gets a DUI (Driving under the influence), it’s pretty much all over the headlines. This is what happened to Vivica A.Fox who pleaded no contest to the drunk driving charges.
Fox is a famous African American actress who has done several roles till date. Vivica Anjanetta Fox is popular for movies like Kill Bill(Vol.2) as well as KimPossible. Recently she was a contestant in the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ show. Anyway, this star was pulled over on March 20th, in San Fernando Valley.
According to police reports, the actress was driving all crazy in her 2007 Cadillac Escalade when she was pulled over. She was doing 80 in a 65 mph speed zone. I think that’s well beyond the acceptable limit. She might have been simply speeding. So the cop car probably thought she was drunk and gave her a DUI. Also, she failed the sobriety tests which confirmed the cop’s suspicion.
The 43 year old actress made a big racial issue out of this whole thing. This is what she had to say to one of her arresting officers:
Brother help a sister, are you going to let this racist white cop do this … well are you?
Vivica showed up at the police station to book herself in on December 5th. She was fined $400 and a three years probation is slapped on her record. Well, that’s pretty much sums the entire DUI incident up.
