Weekend Cooking: Grilled Fish in Tomato Gravy

fish curry1Hey guys what are you planning to have this weekend. I am going to give you some exotic foods that I cherish in weekend in myu hometown (Orissa).

The recipe that I am going to give you is the gravy of grilled -fish fillets. The recipe is as follows:

Ingredients

Fish fillets
Ginger-Garlic Paste
Mustard Paste
Salt
Red Chili Powder
Chopped Onions
Tomato Puree
Nutmeg Powder
Cinnamon Powder
Turmeric Powder

Method

1. Smear the fish fillets with ginger-garlic paste, mustard paste, salt and red chili powder. Marinade them for an hour and then set them to grill turning the fillets frequently until brown.

2. In a wok fry onions until brown, add tomato puree, spices and salt. Fry the paste for some more time and then add water and the fish fillets. Simmer for 5 minutes and garnish it with dried mint leaves.
