Matrik Yadav, one of the senior leaders of Maoist was declared to be punished by the prime minister as well as the President of Maoist, Prachanda, when Yadav did the unusual work when prachanda was in foreign visit. Matrika Yadav, who became the forest minister and later the minister for land reformation used to come in highlights with his different works.
Matrika Yadav is also renowned for his enraged behavior. For Sometime he came in highlight when he debate with the former Prime Minister Girija Prasad koirala in the parliament and CA house. The again for second time he came in highlight when he take LDO in the toilet room and arrested him accusing him for doing unusual work when yadav was the minister for forest. Again when he became minister for land reformation he went along with the PLA and YCL cadres who were in gun to capture the private property of civil people. At that time PM Prachanda was not in Nepal. He was busy in foreign visit. When Prachanda know the case of capturing the people’s property he telephoned him and suggested him not to do such illegal and unusual works. But at that moment Yadav became angry with Prachanda.
When PM Prachanda returned to Nepal he said yadav to apologize for such illegal deed. But instead of apologizing Yadav got angered and said that he had done very well so he would not apologize rather he is ready to give resignation from the post of minister. He did not even obey Prime Minister and the president of his party. His enraged behaviour has given trouble to his own party as well as people.
He fortunately gave resignation and his deed of capturing people’s property taking PLA combatants was slandered from different parts. When he disobeyed Prachanda and went out of rule of the party Prachanda had declared through mass media that he will be punished very soon for being irresponsible and censure work. Form this statement hope in people revived that their property will be returned. Prachanda assured he would not allow anyone to capture the private property.
But till now we people are unaware about the punishment given to the so called people’s leader Matrika Yadav. Now it’s time to think that assuring only is not good. People should not be deceived. The Maoist is now in the threshold of peace making and constituent writing process. If the train of assuring and deceiving the people goes on no one should think that they deceiving people rather it is just controversy. Leader should think that deceiving people mean to deceive themselves which also helps to reduce their reliability and public relation of people. People start to look them negatively. So, now the Prime Minister of Nepal should be aware in ruling the country. Many chances are there but along with the chances there are many dungeons in which any time anyone may fall down there.
Prachanda had spoken that Matrika Yadav will be punished. Till now he hasn’t punished him rather he is silent in this case. Is the duty or responsibility of the leader of the country is to assure and deceive the sovereign people? Then why people are cheated day by day. It’s the time to assume properly. People remain silent for certain time. If Prachanda talks that the people are everything and the sovereign power should vested in people, then why can’t he punish such a disfigurement? No one is up than law. Everyone should be ruled by democratic law. If law are violated by the leader what is the meaning of law. Laws are not made to violate. Laws are made by group of people to make order, peace and prosperity in the society. Leader or the ministers are elected by the people or the representatives of the people to work on the welfare of the people not to torture them. From the irresponsible deed of the former land reformation Minister Matrika Yadav the question arises that is the duty if the land reformation minister is to attack and capture people’s property or the duty is to solve the problem of the people. This question does not mean for only Matrika Yadav. It is also the question for the so called leader of the country that does the slander works in the name of doing good works for the welfare of the people and country. The act of assuring and deceiving the people takes the leader to the dungeon filled of pointed cactus thorns or the pus dungeon.
So, the question goes to Prime Minister Prachanda that everyone has taken the work of Matrika Yadav as illegal and slander work. You had announced that he will be punished soon but till yet he is free. What sort of punishment will you give him or will you let him free deceiving the people. How far the work of capturing the people’s property by the Minister for land reformation is good?
