First getting married three times and then knowing ???She never loved??? her husbands was definitely a breaking news for all Whoopi Goldberg fans. Apparently, Whoopi Goldberg, the remarkable actress, very well known from the movie ???Sister Act??? has only been loved once, so she says. Her seamless affair wasn???t with either of three husbands she had been with. She was married to Alvin Martin in 1979, David Claessen in 1986 and then was with Lyle Trachtenberg in 1994, which too ended within a year???s time.
A recent interview of her on the talk show Piers Morgan Tonight, disclosed Whoopi stating that ???she has never loved any of her husbands???. She claims that she did love only one person, but never did she reveal who it was and neither was she ever married to him. Wouldn???t you just die wanting to know who?
She announces:
I suppose you have to actually be in love with the person you marry. You have to be committed to them. I don???t have that commitment. I???m committed to my family. No I wasn???t in love with any of my husbands. It???s the truth. I wanted to feel normal and it seemed to me if I was married id have a much more normal life.
Rumors say that Whoopi was probably in love with Ted Danson who she had been in affair with for some time. But Whoopi Goldberg, as the woman she is, plainly denied the fact. She agreed to be dating but not being in love. Whoopi???s hidden love for that man will not be shared to the world, but she claims she still speaks to him and that he lives with his wife and children. There is one healthy relationship which has and cannot be broken. She is adamant about keeping it private. She has informed the public that she is a woman who believes and enjoys staying single. She is not the dating type.
