Will Smith is not only a good actor but also an excellent father. And the testimony to this statement was presented recently by his son Willard Smith III aka ‘Trey’. The 16-year-old celebrated his birthday in a quite different style from what we would expect from a celebrity-kid. He asked all his friends to donate gifts to the kids at the Children???s Hospital in Los Angeles.
According to Will, Trey’s generous act was influenced by the recent death of his grandmother who was battling cancer. Trey was by her side when she passed away on a hospital bed. Now, that’s what we call a good soul in the making, and the credit goes to Will Smith for his dedication as a father. In a world where celebrity-kids are often associated with unrestricted tantrums, Trey has shown to the world that you cannot measure them all with the same stick.
Very well done, Trey! You indeed have a golden heart. And congratulations to you Will, you have a gem of a son!
