Strange but done for a good cause. William Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk in the famous TV Series ‘Star Trek’, have sold his Kidney stone for $A33,275 to an online casino.
The money raised would be given to Habitat for Humanity, which builds houses for poor and needed people. The idea of selling his kidney stone came to his mind when he came to know that “Boston Legal” raised $A26,620 for Habitat for Humanity.
This online charity is known for collecting odd stuff it even has a half eaten sandwich said to have an image of Virgin Mary.
