Its been almost ten years, Winona Ryder speaks about her co- star from the movie Girl Interrupted, Angelina Jolie. Ryder says that she knew it from the very starting that whosoever will play the role of Lisa in the movie will grab all the limelight, and this is what happened. Although Winona was the lead actress and the executive producer, Jolie got all the recognition and an Oscar for portraying the role of a neurotic patient at the asylum. Being very generous, Ryder even added that she was very happy for Angie as at that time Jolie was fighting with her image of just good looks and this movie made her a serious actress.
Ryder may have missed the praise for her acting in Girl, Interrupted by she is surely not missing the praise for appreciating Jolie for her acting skills.
