Despite Winona Ryder???s innocent face lies the controversial issue of shoplifting. Looking into her eyes you will doubt if she really is involved in the nasty behavior. At first glance, you would probably say this is only a hearsay or a mistaken identity.
But this is true. Winona Ryder is a certified shoplifter. She has been penalized six years ago to three years probation and 480 hours of community service for what she did. She was found shoplifting £3,000 worth of clothing from a Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
What???s worse, she did it again. This time she was caught shoplifting a makeup in a Hollywood store. Why did she do this? Is she thrilled of getting something and not paying for it? What alibi would she use? Before she said she was doing the shoplifting in preparation for a movie role. But the court found her guilty and her alibi was indeed rubbish.
Such promising 36-year-old actress never learned her lesson the first time. Again, she is the talk of the town. Was she deprived during her childhood or perhaps she has a psychological problem that remains untreated?
The incident happened at Hollywood CVC Pharmacy when the Girl Interrupted star was purchasing several items. Was it simply a mistake or an intentional move for Winona?
Shoplifting is stealing. Whoever you are, you are not above the law. Stealing a small or big item is a condemnable act.
When asked Winona about the unpaid item, she too was shocked why the unpaid makeup was there. I hope she will have the chance to defend herself. Her career is again tested with this incident. Next time, it would be better to recheck her purchased items or the shoplifting issue will haunt her every time she goes shopping.
