YoCream International Inc. is a leading producer of frozen yogurt in Portland. But the brand is now introducing a line of frozen carbonated beverages with an array of Jolly Rancher candy beverage bases like green apple, watermelon, lemon, cherry and grape. The Jolly Rancher® beverage bases tastes like having a real candy and can be used in any frozen carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. These beverage bases are licensed under the Hershey Company.
YoCream had sampled Jolly Rancher(TM) Frozen Beverage during exhibition at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show in November 2005 and used the bases in its frozen carbonated beverages. These beverages are targeted for the kids and the younger generation. The main ingredient that would boost the sales of this product is its packaging. The packaging makes the product easy to handle as it comes in a ready to use slush cups.
You just have to push in the straw in the hole of the lid and have it anywhere…no spilling and no storage problems. YoCream along with launching a new beverage has also made its packaging as functional as possible.
