When it’s time to receive the award, most of us dress up in a conservative and respectable way. So did Zara Phillips – daughter of Princess Anne while she was about to receive the MBE from the queen (her grandmother).
She is an elite equestrienne. Most of the time Zara wears a more revealing dress or rather shows off to the public. However, when it was time for her to receive the MBE, she dressed up in a black military frock type coat. All I can say is that she was looking fabulous.
Zara managed to even kiss her Queen grandma on both cheeks. This was a picture perfect award ceremony. Even though Zara is young she knows the royal family traditions very well. At least that’s what she proved when she kissed her grandma. She managed to win the gold medal for last year’s Equestrian Games and was granted a MBE for the same. BBC selected her as the sports personality of the Year.
