Zayed Khan is going to be a proud daddy soon! The ‘Cash’ star married his longtime girlfriend Malaika Parekh on November 20, 2005 and now the loving couple are expecting their first child sometime early next year. Both Zayed and Malaika are delighted. Zayed says:
Having a child is a blessing from God and I am totally ecstatic! Inside my heart of hearts, I’m laughing and so, so happy, even though I’m exhibiting a controlled exterior. I am looking forward to the next generation of Khan genes to create a lot of noise in the house which hasn’t happened since I grew up.
Malaika Khan is equally overjoyed and is very impatiently waiting to experience motherhood. On the other hand the excited father is full of emotions on being on his way towards fatherhood.
Zayed says:
I don’t really know how to answer that. I think the minute you touch your child, some chemical reaction will take over and parental behaviour will kick in.
Khan also mentioned that they have already short listed some names for their kid to be irrespective of whether the baby would be boy or a girl. There are already six grandchildren in the Khan family, the youngest being Rehaan Roshan (Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan’s son). Sanjay and Zarine Khan are absolutely thrilled with this news as they are going to be dada-dadi for the very first time and Zayed and Malaika’s child will be their seventh grandchild.
It seems that Zayed and Malaika are overwhelmed over this development post marriage. Here’s wishing all the very best and joy to the Mumma and Papa to be!
