10th Biltmore International Wine and Food Festival

qwThe tenth Biltmore International Wine and Food Festival starts on Friday at 8 a.m, featuring 25 authentic dishes cooked by celebrity chefs Pilar Sanchez of Pilar, Napa, Luke Palladino of Specchio & Ombra, and Govind Armstrong of Table 8, Los Angeles. Apart from the International West-Coast Celebrity Chefs, three nationally renowned visiting chefs, will create the magic on the following Saturday night along with the Chef de Cuisine at Palme d’Or and Biltmore’s Pastry Chef Marcos Gonzalez.

The main attraction of the festival will be fine wines from 70 wineries: As per Cellar Club and Biltmore festival creator Yvonne Roberts:

What separates us from the other festivals is that it’s all single vineyard reserve, upper-tier wines. In other words, it’s the creme of the creme line of what these vineyards produce that is being poured here, but in an intimate boutique setting where everyone’s treated like a VIP.

The festival had been gathering $5 million every year for UM/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. We can hope for the best in this year’s culinary event as it is not only a mark of sophistication and culinary exchange but also a support hub for the Cancer patients.
