‘Iron Chef America’ ends with a ‘Draw’

A recent report shows that there has been a tie for the title of Iron Chef in America and this time the tie has been for the third time in the history of the contest. The tie took place between Chef Susur Lee, the owner of Susur and Lee in Toronto and author of Susur: A Culinary Life, and Chef Bobby Flay, co-owner of Bolo, which is supposed to be the top Spanish restaurant in New York City.

As per facts, the chefs were asked to prepare five dishes using bacon as the main ingredient within an hour. Susur Lee had dished out six four star meals instead of five, but finally the judges called for a tie between Flay and Lee. The interesting thing is that Flay has already shared the honor among the three ties and this tie rounded him up for a second take.

Iron Chef America is an adaptation of Iron Chef USA and is produced by Food Network is aimed at bringing back the chefs to their roots.
