Its about Britney again. Britney somehow always manages to generate news maybe because people are just too interested in her life.

UCLA Medical Center has shown the exit to some employees for having peered through Britney Spears’ medical records without prior authorization. These records are the ones documented while she was hospitalized in a psychiatric ward earlier this year.

The Los Angeles Times have reported that more than 13 employees, none of whom are doctors would be sacked. However, there are another twelve of them, including doctors who will be dealt with harshly for having pried into the pop princess’non-psychiatric computer records deriving from her previous visits to the Los Angeles medical center. As of now, there is no evidence that the confidential medical information has leaked out. The Times reports that there is no evidence yet that any employees leaked or sold the information.

The hospital even took preventive measures when prying of confiential information took place. The hospital sent out a memo to all of their employees reminding them that they were only allowed to view their own patients??? medical records. Prying into unathorized patient documents was a violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

This however, is not the first time that Britney’s documents have been snooped. Three years ago, workers were fired when they went through her records during the birth of her son, Sean Preston.
