Lutfi ordered to stay clear of Brit

lutfi ordered to stay clear of brit

Sam Lutfi is the former self-styled manager for Britney Spears. He has been ordered to stay away from the pop star who perpetually finds herself in the news for the wrong reasons for 30 more days. Meanwhile, lawyers argue over a temporary restraining order against him.

This agreement comes in light of a court hearing which would be held to discuss issues related to a temporary order restraining Lutfi from meeting Britney too often. Since Britney’s split up with ex-husband Kevin Federline in late 2006, Lutfi, had been her constant companion throughout much of the following year. At present, Jamie Spears, Britney’s father has been controlling much of the pop singer’s personal and professional issues.

The court hearing which was scheduled for today was also to hear discussions on relationship between Spears and Lutfi. The temporary order however has been now extended for a period of 30 days with both sides agreeing to the extension. It was in fact revealed that despite being restrained from meeting Britney, Lutfi has been in contact with the singer over the phone. The extension had not yet been formally approved and a judge was expected to approve it today.

Lutfi did not immediately return a phone message left for him yesterday when the press sought comments from him. Even phone messages and e-mails to lawyers for Spears and her estate co-conservators, which include her father, also were not immediately returned.

Britney’s life took a downward turn when she split from Federline. Since the split, Briney has been in rehabilitation, has received lots of flak for bad parenting, lost custody of her sons to Federline and was even hospitalized twice for psychiatric observation.
