Hollywood couple Demi Moore (45) and Ashton Kutcher (29) have ceased following the religion of Kabbalah. Kabbalah is a spiritual subsidiary form of Judaism. Media started speculating about the couple???s loss of faith after they failed to attend the Los Angeles Kabbalah center for a considerable span of time.
Subsequently, Ashton was spotted without his red Kabbalah bracelet. He was originally introduced to Kabbalah by Demi and their marriage ceremony in 2005 also had followed Kabbalah norms. People are wondering why Demi and her hubby, once devoted followers of the religion, suddenly chose to abandon it. A source from the the Los Angeles Kabbalah center was quoted saying,
Ashton and Demi used to have an impeccable attendance record, but they haven’t attended a service or come to one of the Shabbat dinners we have after Friday services for months now. It’s just odd. Something must be up.
The buzz circling the media is that Ashton got tired of following this faith and was reluctant to continue it further. Whatever be the reason, I feel that celebrities can follow and subsequently change a religion as per their latest whims and fancies. For them perhaps religion is not a just matter of faith, but also of publicity and media hype.
