Summer weddings means a little bit of panic for the bride because with the blazing sun up in the sky the temperatures are sure to be quite high which means keeping the make up in the proper way may not be always possible. The wedding is a once in a life time opportunity. Any bride does not want to take any risk associated with the look she wants to flaunt on her wedding day. But the summer season may play a spoil-sport. The scorching heat and the constant perspiration can hamper the overall look of the bride. she might end up looking very tired and ultimately may not be able to enjoy her own wedding. Thus caution must be exercised while planning a summer wedding.. So, here are some face-saving techniques.
Foundation:
It is the base of all make up. For oily skin, you can hydrate it with a moisturizer and if you have dry skin you can use a normal moisturizer. The foundation should be applied evenly all over the face and neck region taking extra care to apply it beneath the eyes and around the corners of the nose. After applying the foundation you should apply a little bit of face powder with a brush.
Eyes:
While applying shadow to the eyes it is advisable to avoid creamy products which tend to have an oily effect. It is better to apply two layers of the shadow so that it adheres to the skin and stays longer. Waterproof mascara is the best choice for this kind of weather conditions because sweat is one thing which will be difficult to avoid. Another fact is that liquid liners are better than any pencil liner.
Lips:
Moisturize your lips with lip balm and then color your entire lip with pencil color before applying lipstick. You could also apply a medium-toned concealer to make your lipstick stay longer. The most important step is to apply some lip gloss and a small amount of lipstick sealer. Only a single coat on both the upper and lower lp will ensure that the lipstick for a much longer time.
Blush:
The blush which you choose should be of a soft and powdery formula. That will not get washed away with sweat but rather keep your face looking fresh. To make the blush stay longer apply a matching powder blush above it.
