Regular Sushi intake to regulated sushi intake: Survey says

sushiSushi consumption has grown in America and as per the suggested intake of Omega3 fatty acids; this consumption shows a positive change in eating habits. But a recent illustration of Joanne Hanrahan shows that an increase in sushi consumption actually ruined her health.

As per facts the reason of ill-health of regular sushi lovers is due to the presence of mercury in fish, which gets into the body of fishes like tuna and mackerel from the industrial wastage that is chucked into the sea.

As per the report bits and pieces of tuna and mackerel were sent to a lab in Parsippany, New Jersey and the experts said:

Doctors often fail to diagnose mercury poisoning because symptoms like memory loss, depression and hair loss, mirror so many other ailments.

Joanne did face similar problems, but this does not mean that eating sushi can be harmful, but the consumption of fishes with high levels of mercury like shark, swordfish, or tilefish can be reduced.

The report suggests increasing the intake of salmon, shrimp and crab as these fishes are comparatively less harmful. Anything in excess is harmful and there are very few sushi fans that can be compared to Joanne.
