Leftover rice creates a lot of confusion when mama serves dinner at night and wasting such a lot of rice is a complete no-no. So what you do with the rice? Fry it with tomatoes, vegetables, meats or mix it in salad.
But I prefer preparing a complete meal out of it. What about desserts…stuffed desserts…in flavore syrup…hmmm.
All that you need to do is mash rice until fine and mix it with freshly grated coconut, milk and honey. Keep this mixture aside. Dip bread in skimmed milk and take it out immediately, drain excess milk by pressing it between hands.
Spoon the rice and coconut mixture into the bread and roll it up. Roll these rolls over bread crumbs, deep fry the rolls. Prepare a syrup by melting chocolate bars and stirring in cream and confectionary sugar. Simmer this mixture until they become thick. Dip these rolls in this mixture.
This rich and luscious desserts can be made without deep frying the rolls incase you want to cut down on calories.
