LiLo is all set for a date with Fred Krueger. Producer Andrew Form has shortlisted LiLo to play the lead character, Nancy Thompson, in the remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street.
Andrew, who has already produced remakes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th, is very delighted to have Lindsay working on the project.
We were lucky to receive a call from Jason Weinberg, Lindsay???s manager. He called us to tell us that Lindsay was very interested in the film and wanted to be a part of it. We called Jason back after Wesley Strick finished the script and asked if Lindsay wanted to look at the first draft. She looked it over and loved it. She thought this was the perfect vehicle for her.
I think Andrew is right. LiLo is the best choice for the role. As it is, she’s been living with a ‘nightmare’ for quite some time now. Moreover, Freddy is a better choice than SamRo! Isn’t it, LiLo? I always knew you were a smart girl.
However, please make sure you buy some DVDs of the Nightmare series and study the character well. I don’t want Heather Langenkamp to have nightmares after watching you play Nancy!
