Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock has been asked to return her Golden Raspberry award as she had accidentally collected the original “priceless” trophy instead of a cheaper replica made for the winners. Sandra was awarded the Worst Actress Razzie last month (Mar10) for her role in All About Steve.
Contactmusic quotes John Wilson, the ceremony’s founder, as saying,
We are ready to take the unprecedented step of asking a winner to return a Razzie. As Sandra was in such a rush after winning Worst Actress she ran off with the original handmade prototype which has been present at ceremonies since the 1980s.
Cool stuff, isn’t it? Sandra first made history by becoming the first Hollywood actress to collect a Razzie and an Oscar in the same year, and now the Razzie recall has ‘actually’ made her the first Razzie winner to dump the sarcastic burden off her shoulder.
