Alec Baldwin has parted ways with his agents Matt DelPiano and Michael Rosenfeld of Creative Artists Agency, for some unknown personal reasons.
Baldwin has worked with CAA since 2002 and during the time he has done some critically acclaimed roles in movies like ‘The Cooler,’ ‘The Departed’ and ‘The Aviator’ and won a Golden Globe for his role in NBC’s ’30 Rock.’
The firing comes almost the same time as Baldwin finds himself in the public scrutiny since an angry voicemail message he left on his daughter’s cellphone last week was made public.
Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger who had split in, have long been fighting over the custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Ireland. In the recently leaked telephone message, Baldwin is heard yelling at his daughter for failing to answer the telephone for a prearranged phone call, calling her a ‘rude, thoughtless little pig.’
Baldwin is accusing his former wife of the message leak, but has himself also has since apologized for rude behaviour.
