Despite the cowardly acts or rather ‘beastly tricks’ on the beauty pageant show in Caribbean, the contestants managed to put up a great show. Ingrid Marie Rivera, 29 still managed to win the beauty competition even after all the threats and harassment.
Apparently, some people who have been pissed off at her sprayed her gown with pepper spray, stole her credit cards from her bag and even threatened to blow up the show with a bomb! The pepper spray affected the pageant pretty bad.
When backstage, the pageant had to apply ice bags on her face to reduce her swelling. Reportedly, her face broke out into hives couple of times during the show. Even with all this going on, she didn’t loose hope or give up. She still managed to put on a great show and even with a smile!
She was calm and composed in front of the camera. Pageant organizers hope to catch the folks who vandalized the show. The pranks are under investigation. Miss Rivera expressed her grief at a news conference I hope the pageant organizers and the cops manage to expose the vandals who messed up the pageant show.
