According to Pinellas County authorities, Mary Delgado who is a former cheerleader with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was arrested around Wednesday midnight on the charges that she had punch her fiance such that it lead his upper lip to bleed. But, the original reports said that Delgado had attacked her fiance of three years with whom she had live-in relationship and also said that it was not sure whether the victim was Byron Velvick.
According to a police affidavit, she was under the influence of alcohol when arrested in Tampa and was charged with battery. But, the Sheriff officials said that she was released on Wednesday afternoon.
The pair had appeared on Tuesday in the special episode of ‘The Bachelor’, which was called ‘After The Final Rose’. During this show Delgado even told that she had adopted her fiance’s sport of fishing because she loved him so much that she has also started loving his sports.
She also revealed that they had plans to get married in November. Velvick is a professional bass fisherman and had proposed to Delgado in the close of the 2004 session of the show. They had been living together as a family since last three years.
