Junebug star Amy Adams is under intense negotiations with the producers of CIA drama ‘Charlie Wilson’s War‘. The movie is being directed by Mike Nichols from Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of George Crile’s book. Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman have already agreed to star in the movie; Tom Hanks is also producing this project.
The Universal Pictures venture is based on, the arming of the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan, it is considered as the most successful operation of CIA. Meanwhile another movie of Amy Adams, ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby’ will hit theatres on August 4.
